Dr Sarika Dakshikar is working in De-addiction Unit of G.T. Hospital for nearly 9 years. She was working as Assistant Professor initially then as Associate Professor and now as Head of Unit since last 2 years. She has been conducting awareness programs for youth, their parents and general public for last 9 years. She’s also visiting psychiatrist to district central prison where she treats the patients with substance use disorder both male and female inmates and conducts individual counseling focusing on quality of life once the prisoners are released.
She’s member of district committee to conduct programs under aegis of NashaMukt Bharat Abhiyan and actively conducted awareness programs for the same. She also represents the institute in regular meetings held at west zonal office of Narcotics Control Bureau.
